Abby Borden

Abby loves food, celebrating, and her dog Roscoe.

As a child I loved “helping” – whether it was at my siblings birthday parties or setting the table for family celebrations. Little did I realize that this “helping” was the humble beginning of a career in events.

The daughter of a diplomat, I was fortunate enough to travel from a very young age, being exposed to different cultures and cuisines early on. My love for food developed further working in catering kitchens with talented Chefs. Together, we curated menus that embrace seasonal ingredients, take inspiration from global trends, and of course – tasted delicious!

My career in events started by working for various catering and event production companies, learning everything I could about every part of the industry. Each time, I started at the bottom – a PA, busser, stage manager, runner or captain… it’s that wealth of experience accumulated over time, and the relationships that were built with them that makes me who I am today. While my job titles have changed, I’m still someone who will roll up my sleeves and bus a table, or do whatever is needed to get the job done.

My goal is to always ensure that guests are well fed, thoroughly entertained, and still talking about it when they leave.

I am based in Los Angeles and share a home with my dog Roscoe, who loves food as much as his Mommy does.
