Offsite / On the Go Favorites:

My office is often the event site - and it could be anywhere ranging from a venue or home, to a parking lot or back kitchen/storage space! My iPad is a MUST and here are my favorite accessories for it:

  • App: GOODNOTES! I’ve always been a handwritten notes girl, with stacks of project notebooks - now they’re all stored digitally! I’ve been converted. A notebook per client, unlimited pages so I can track past events, and all my vendors love my pdf revisions that easily export to email.

  • Apple Pencil

  • ‘Paperlike’ for iPad - makes using a stylus feel like writing on paper!

  • The iPad Case that helps me not lose the pencil, and keeps it charged!. Feels like I’m just carrying a notebook.

Office Essentials

I would not have the time to be creative, balance life and love my job without my least favorite parts being handled.

  • Bench Accounting - Better than Quickbooks, there’s a PERSON who is assigned to me and my business to sift through all of the expenses. Free month trial is linked - you’ll thank me later.

  • I pair this with Wave - Beautiful invoices, accepts online payments with a low fee, accounts receivable tracking - AND I linked mine to Bench, so that human person can track my invoices and reimbursable expenses! Amazing!

Production Must Haves

  • Custom Molded Surveillance Earpiece - the answer to ear aches, and the overwhelming groans when the team hears they need to wear an earpiece to their walkie. ;) AND its less than $30!

  • Bandolier - Crossbody Phone Case - Because how many times have I put my phone down, and then forgotten where it was? (Too many.)

  • And if you’re not into the phone case (or the “shoulder fanny pack”) then here’s an actual one that I love. Black Fanny Pack, less than $20!
